Brown Line Light Units are engineered with the same rigorous attention to real-world functionality as our power supplies. Light units are made of metal and are convection-cooled for decades of trouble-free use. All units come cabled with a 20' locking/quick release power supply connector (which is compatible with all older Brown Line Power Supplies), come with a flash tube (in your choice of either clear or color corrected), model lamp(s), reflector and 5/8" stand mount. Brown Line MW3R

The MW3R is a small, inexpensive secondary light source. It is designed to be used primarily as a hair light or background light. Its small size makes it ideal for hiding on a set. It has a fixed 5.5" reflector, 60W modeling lamp, and can handle 400Ws of power.

Brown Line MW3U/MW3UQ

The MW3U is identical to the MW3R, but adapted for use with an umbrella. It makes an excellent and affordable fill light. The MW3UQ is equipped with a 1200Ws quartz flash tube. It is easily powerful enough to be used as a main light for many assignments. Both of these lights come with a bright 150W modeling lamp.

Brown Line M90/M90Q

The affordable M90s are perfect for use as main or fill lights for portraiture. The M90 (400Ws maximum) and M90Q (1200Ws maximum) are equipped with fixed 8.5" reflectors, and accept light control accessories such as snoots, diffusers, gel holders, barn doors and umbrellas for versatile light control. As an added feature for portriat work, the M90s come with three 40W modeling lamps instead of one bright one. This feature allows models to look into the light without squinting.

Brown Line M11

For photogrpahers who require absolute control and versatility in compact lighting, the M11s shine! They can handle a multitude of lighting situations, in the studio or on location. The M11 (1600Ws maximum) features a system of quick-release, bayonet mount reflectors (they utilize the same system as the Black Line Universal Light Units). Over 50 precision light control accessories are available to help you produce the exact quality of light and place it exactly where you require it. They come standard with the 11.5", 50° grid reflector.

4.5" Fresnel Lens Spotlight

Based on the Lowel™ 650 chasis, this highly portable unit is intended primarily as a supplementary or accent light, but is capable of handling a full 2400Ws of power. With an ISO100 guide number of 320(98 guide number in meters) at full power into the center of a tight 10° beam*, there is always enough power and control for special situations. Spreading the beam with the focus knob allows you to increase the coverage to more than 50° and reduce the guide number by one f-stop. Comes complete with 2400Ws color corrected quartz flashtube, 150W modeling lamp, four-way barn door and standard 5/8" stand mount. It's small size and low price make it ideal for portraiture.
